Today on Human Rights Radio, Gord Barnes and Jim Hutchings spoke with Rhonda Rosenberg of Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan and that organization's raising awareness of benefits of Multiculturalism and dangers of Racism. We talk about Rhonda's role in MCoS and how we can help achieve its goals. We also touched on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, March 21 and Regina's special Spring Free from Racism event on March 22.

Today 5 Journalism students visited Human Rights Radio and talked to us about some of their projects. They ranged from a brutal murder in Bangladesh that has all but been ignored by officials there to the unsettling fact (for beer drinkers) that all our old familiar beer brands in Canada are no longer owned by Canadian companies.

Jim Hutchings talks with Brenna Engel and Ritva Gahimbare, two U of R Arts students who decided to take part and volunteer for a local service organization, group 91 of Amnesty International here in Regina.
